River Road bridge closure

River Road / I-80 Bridge Closure

The Troy Baseball League is gearing up for an exciting spring season and we want to keep our community informed about an upcoming road closure that might impact your route to the Lou-Von Baseball fields.
Starting on December 4th 2023 River Road at the I-80 Bridge will be temporarily closed due to construction. We understand that this may cause some inconveniences as you reroute to reach our beloved baseball fields. We are aware of, and sympathetic to your concerns.
However, we are optimistic that the hassles will be minor, and we are committed to ensuring a smooth start to our upcoming baseball season.
The closure is expected to last until October of 2024, and during this time we encourage all players, parents, and supporters to plan alternate routes using the designated detours and the map we are including.
While we navigate this temporary challenge, we believe it will be a small “roadblock” on the way to an outstanding spring baseball season! We are confident that the improvements to the area infrastructure will contribute to a safer and easier travel experience for all our families and friends. We anticipate that everything will continue as planned for this season and we will update you regarding any scheduling changes as soon as they become available.
As we embark on the upcoming year, we appreciate your understanding, flexibility, and positive spirit. We hope this minor inconvenience will not deter you from continuing with Troy.
