5-10 for Wiffleball on Thursday Nights

11-13 for Blitzball on Thursday Nights

What time of the year does this program run?

This program begins July 2nd and goes through August 27th (no games July 9th) for the Thursday Night Leagues

The program dates for the Friday Night Leagues are July 17th through August 28th

Practices

When are practices and how often are they?

Practices are not required, however each team will be given access to 1 hour per week of practice time on non-play days (Saturday-Wednesday) if they choose to use.

Games

How many games will they play? What days of the week?

1 game per week on Thursday (5-13 year olds) or Friday (high school and up)

Jerseys

Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?

Jerseys are not provided, but can be purchased separately through us or elsewhere if the team so chooses. Matching jerseys are not required.

Extra Costs

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?

No extra fees aside from some concessions dollars here and there! This league was created to bring friends together and have fun!

Thursday Night Wiffle/Blitz

League Details

Ages: 5–13

Location: Troy Baseball Fields

• Players ages 5–10 will play Wiffleball

• Players ages 11–13 will play Blitzball

Both versions are fast-paced, fun, and designed for players of all skill levels.

What to Expect

Small teams (about 5–6 players)

Short, action-packed games

No umpires – games use a strike zone target and honor system

Fun, relaxed backyard-style atmosphere

A glove (optional but recommended)

Blitzball is a fast-paced backyard-style baseball game known for its big pitch movement, home runs, and exciting gameplay. It’s easy to learn and a blast to compete in.

Team Registration

Your team is officially registered for the league.

Team Fee: $260 per team (up to 8 players)

Captains are responsible for managing their team roster and communicating league updates to their players.

League Format

Small team rosters (typically 5–8 players)

Fast-paced games

Strike zone targets used for balls and strikes

No umpires during regular season games

Standings tracked throughout the season

Playoffs and championship to end the season
